In 2016, both the iPhone 7 and Galaxy S7 were launching. 
#skipthesevens attempted to disrupt that launch. 
At a time when Tim Cook was calling Apple’s headphone jack move “courageous”, we wanted to poke fun at the uptight minimalism of the category, and call out the sheer lack of Thinking Different going on. 
For the 1%, we took an open letter to the front page of the Wall St. Journal, for the other 99%, we made a minimalist German music video about moving the headphone jack.
