Kia K5•LIVE Campaign
Sedans used to be the most popular vehicles on the market. But after uninspired models and decades of declining sales, it’s now one of the lowest performing areas in the auto industry. And declared legally dead by all major enthusiasts. But rather than give up on sedans, Kia wondered: Is the excitement of driving really lost? Or have other automakers lost the will to excite? So, they built the K5. And this is how we took a category from dead to live.

The First-ever Flat Spin 360° Stunt
Unlike the classic Corkscrew stunt, which has been successfully done multiple times over, the Flat Spin 360 requires the car to spin like a pancake from nose to tail. It’s a maneuver that’s circulated throughout Hollywood’s most capable stunt experts for decades, but ultimately eluded them all. Until now.
Live Triple Threat Stunt
While others declared sedans dead, we took them live. Launching our campaign with a 15-minute, live-streamed event where two stunt drivers simultaneously passed each other in mid air, while a third driver pulled a 180 underneath. A first-of-its-kind stunt requiring perfect timing, while millions watched at home. No pressure.
Turn The Lights On
We also created a film demonstrating the K5’s truly electric power. And once again put our faith in the skills of our stunt driver, then, bit our knuckles, while he let loose in an abandoned warehouse full of old carnival equipment.
Stunt Wars
We put the keys in their hands, then turned them against each other to create a series of head-to-head stunt videos featuring two of the world’s best stunt drivers.
